Canine Good Neighbour

A Canine Good Neighbour test (CGN) is a test of manners, control and confidence. The test is made up of 12 tests:
Accepting a friendly stranger
Politely accepting petting
Appearance and grooming
Out for a walk
Walking through a crowd
Sit / Down, stay in place
Come when called
Praise and interaction
Reaction to a passing dog
Reaction to distractions
Supervised Isolation
Walking through a door or gate
A dog that passes all of the tests earns the Title CGN. Canine Good Neighbour Tests are open to purebred and mixed breed dogs alike.
